Media personality and entertainment pundit, Mc Yaa Yeboah has subjected Dancehall King, Charles Nii Armah, popularly known as Shatter Wale to severe criticism on the 3rd May 2025 edition of United Showbiz. This was after Shatter Wale attacked Bulldog and used unprintable words on the latter, including the allegation that Bulldog is responsible for the death of Kwaw Kesse's manager.
Bulldog indicated on that edition of United Showbiz that the words used on him by Shatter Wale affected him and his family psychologically. However, he has settled the matter with Shatter Wale and everything is fine.
Mc Yaa Yeboah however didn't take the issue lightly during her turn to discuss the matter on United Showbiz. She pointed out that she has once been a victim of such attacks, and as a matter of fact the attitude of attacking the private lives of people and defaming them must cease to exist. She went further to say that those words used by Shatter Wale about Bulldog were all 'nonsense' and that he shouldn't have opened his mouth to utter those words to Bulldog. She also says that Shatta Wale insulted and attacked the sitting Ghanaian president, John Dramani Mahama, and later ran to Rev. Lawrence Tetteh to help him apologize to the President.
She indicates that this behaviour would become a vicious cycle should we continue to encourage the behavior put up by Shatta Wale. She also noted that she wouldn't have forgiven Shatta Wale should it have been her case. This submission by Mc Yeboah was welcome with disagreement by entertainment pundit Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, Prophet Kumchacha and the rest of the panelist, stating that Bulldog acted muturely and took the right direction in dealing with the case, hence no need for Bulldog to drag the case seriously.
I really agree with what Mc Yaa Yeboah says about shatta Wale's issue. It looks as though certain people, especially famous and powerful people are protected when we have to criticise them for negative attitudes they put up outside. Sometimes, majority of us fear threats and are afraid to be beaten should we come out to boldly speak against uncivilized acts committed by others, but find it very cheap to criticize certain categories of people in the society, especially children and women.
What is good for the goose is equally good for the gander, and the same energy used to discipline vulnerable groups in the society should also be used to criticize celebrities, especially since these celebs are primary influencers in many people's lives. Because to come out to allege that someone killed another without any tangible evidence is a very serious example of an uncivilized and uncultured behaviour.
